Ep146: Guest Alert! Lisa Lee from Myrtle Beach’s The Tasting Room on 9th

We are thrilled to chat with our latest guest, Lisa Lee, a wine entrepreneur in Myrtle Beach who took a vision of a high-end wine bar with unparalleled hospitality and made it a reality with The Tasting Room on 9th. Her story is inspiring, her personality energetic, and her desire to bring the best to the Arts & Innovation District of Myrtle Beach is heartwarming. Tune in to hear her nontraditional, yet exciting journey of opening a wine bar in a coastal community where most sipping is usually done with cocktails on the beach. Lisa chose a deliciously fresh Provençal rosé from Château Minuty to sip on – grab your own and listen in!

Ep127: Does It Matter What They Wear?

The Olympics were definitely different than usual this year with empty stadiums and athletes taking wellness days…. but, one thing that hasn’t changed is the stark contrast in uniform between the men and women’s teams in certain sports. What IS that about?! And is anyone doing anything about it? We speculate on the topic while sipping on a self-proclaimed SILVER chardonnay!

Ep110: New York, New York

When thinking of iconic New York dishes, most of us refer to staples like the reuben sandwich or traditional cheesecake. Well perhaps some NY wine would pair well with your NY bagel? Ep98: To Pet or Not to Pet

That is the question! It truly is for some of us who are in need of a furry friend, yet unsure if it is the right fit. This episode we delve in to the pros and cons of having a pet, as well as the different types of pets to consider (who knew a mouse could be a pet?)! Once you decide on a pet, we have tips on where to find your next best friend. Ep72: Boobies

Boobies…we got ’em, and we gotta take care of ’em! With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, we thought what better time to focus our conversation – and beverage – on the twins we’ve got on the front of our bodies. One in eight woman will develop breast cancer in her lifetime, a sobering statistic for sure. The good news is there are higher survival rates and technology that improves detection. Still, breast cancer is a scary thing, and we want to be sure our DBPeeps are informed and have a better understanding of how to support those affected. While drinking the Montes Twins red blend, we run through recent statistics surrounding breast cancer, preventive measures, symptoms, and resources that exist. So wear pink, pour a drink, and cheers to boobies!
