Ep95: Taxation for the Wine Nation

You may have noticed your favorite French wine has recently disappeared from the shelves, or perhaps that Spanish Garnacha you love is a few dollars more. This is likely due to the wine tariffs introduced last year imparting an extra fee on certain goods (ahem…wine) from certain European countries. In this episode, we clarify which wines are affected and why this tariff even started in the first place (what does wine have to do with airplanes?!). While we are all about ‘Made in America’ we do love those German Rieslings and other wines made ‘across the pond’. Grab a glass of your fave European wine and listen in to find out if you should be stocking up!
