With each episode, we’ll include a little tasting write-up and a DBP Wine Rating for the wines according to the following scale:
5 corks: Boss bitch. It’s deliriously good, so good you could rule the world after drinking this.
4 corks: Total bitch. A go-to wine. Solid all around. Bring it to the next party and share with some of your besties.
3.5 corks: Almost bitch. This wine is one you would feel comfortable sharing with your peeps, but not one that is going to wildly impress. You’d buy it again, especially if it’s on sale!
3 corks: Part bitch. It’s good, but not spectacular. Save for nights on the couch by yourself watching Friends, when you decide to open a last-minute bottle.
2.5 corks: Somewhat bitch. This wine has a bit more to offer, with a few more redeeming qualities. It’s definitely a drinkable wine, but leaves us undecided. She’s on a slow path to “bitch.”
2 corks: Eh. Basically 1 cork, but with one minor redeeming quality, so you don’t want to spit it out.
1 cork: A waste of calories! Wouldn’t serve it to your own worst enemy. Do not drink.
